Canada Express Entry CEC Draw Issues 2,500 Invitations at CRS 519 on October 15, 2026

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 2,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates in Express Entry round #449 on October 15, 2026. The lowest-ranked candidate invited had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 519, according to IRCC's official round results.

October 15 Express Entry draw results

Round number: 449. Program: Canadian Experience Class. Date and time: October 15, 2026 at 10:02:33 UTC. Invitations issued: 2,500. Minimum CRS score: 519. Tie-breaking date and time: September 21, 2026 at 19:00:47 UTC.

What the CRS cutoff means

The CRS cutoff of 519 applies to this particular invitation round. Candidates who had at least 519 points were not necessarily invited: they also had to meet the eligibility requirements for the Canadian Experience Class round and the tie-breaking rule where applicable. A draw invitation is not an approval of permanent residence.

What candidates should do

Candidates who receive an Invitation to Apply should follow the instructions in their IRCC account, confirm their eligibility, prepare accurate supporting documents and submit a complete application within the deadline shown in their invitation. Candidates who were not invited should keep their Express Entry profiles accurate and monitor future official rounds.
