Newfoundland and Labrador Immigration Draw: 62 Invitations Issued on September 18, 2026
What happened
Newfoundland and Labrador issued 62 Invitations to Apply on September 18, 2026 through its economic immigration Expression of Interest process. Of the 62 invitations, 61 were issued through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and 1 through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
Why this matters
The September 18 round continues the province’s active use of its Expression of Interest model for economic immigration. It follows rounds on September 4, when 97 NLPNP invitations were issued, and September 10, when 36 NLPNP invitations were issued.
What applicants should know
An Invitation to Apply is not permanent residence approval. Candidates should confirm that they continue to meet the applicable program requirements and submit complete documentation within the timelines provided by the province. Immigration rules and selection priorities can change, so applicants should rely on current official guidance for their individual circumstances.
